Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain Windows Server, Linux, and cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure)
- Implement and monitor security protocols to protect against cyber threats
- Automate system tasks using PowerShell, Bash, and scripting languages
- Diagnose and resolve complex hardware/software issues with minimal downtime
- Oversee backup/recovery processes and disaster preparedness initiatives
- Document IT systems, procedures, and configuration standards
- Coordinate vendor relationships for hardware/software procurement
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of hands-on system administration experience
- Expertise in Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and network protocols
- Proficiency with virtualization technologies (VMware/Hyper-V)
- Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Python, or Bash)
- CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification preferred
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) required
- Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities
