Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain Windows/Linux server environments and cloud infrastructure
- Monitor system performance and proactively troubleshoot network, security, and hardware issues
- Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and VPN configurations
- Develop automation scripts using PowerShell/Python for routine tasks
- Ensure compliance with security protocols and industry best practices
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on IT projects and system upgrades
- Document system configurations and maintain knowledge base articles
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Windows Server administration
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V)
- Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Python, or Bash)
- CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification required
- Proven experience with network protocols and security frameworks
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and communication skills
- Ability to work flexible hours for system maintenance windows
