Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and optimize Windows/Linux server environments including Active Directory, VMware, and Azure
- Manage enterprise storage systems (SAN/NAS) and backup solutions with 99.9% SLA compliance
- Lead security initiatives including vulnerability patching, firewall management, and compliance audits
- Automate workflows using PowerShell, Python, and Ansible for operational efficiency
- Provide Tier-3 support and mentor junior administrators through incident resolution
- Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipeline integration
- Document infrastructure changes and maintain configuration management databases
Qualifications
- 5+ years in enterprise system administration with proven Windows/Linux expertise
- CCNA/CCNP or CompTIA Security+ certification required (AWS/Azure preferred)
- Hands-on experience with VMware vSphere and Microsoft Hyper-V virtualization
- Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Python) for automation
- Knowledge of network fundamentals including TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP
- Experience with cloud migration projects and hybrid architectures
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and communication skills
- BS in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
