Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain Windows/Linux server environments across on-premises and AWS/Azure platforms
- Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and enterprise-level network security protocols
- Proactively monitor system health using tools like Nagios, Zabbix, and SolarWinds
- Execute disaster recovery plans and ensure 99.9% uptime for critical business applications
- Automate deployment processes using Ansible, Terraform, and PowerShell scripting
- Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipeline optimization
- Document infrastructure architecture and create operational runbooks
Qualifications
- 5+ years of enterprise system administration experience with Windows Server 2016/2019 and RHEL/CentOS
- Expert-level knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, and enterprise backup solutions
- Strong scripting proficiency (PowerShell, Bash, Python) for automation tasks
- Cloud platform certifications (AWS/Azure) or equivalent hands-on experience
- Experience with virtualization (VMware ESXi/KVM) and container technologies (Docker)
- Security certifications (CompTIA Security+, CISSP preferred) and network fundamentals
- Excellent problem-solving skills with ability to troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues
