As a Senior System Administrator, you will be the backbone of our IT operations, ensuring high availability, security, and performance of our critical infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain on-premise Windows Server environments and Linux distributions.
- Design, deploy, and monitor cloud infrastructure using Azure and AWS services.
- Implement and enforce network security protocols, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems.
- Automate routine administrative tasks using PowerShell and Bash scripting to increase efficiency.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to streamline deployment pipelines and CI/CD workflows.
- Conduct regular system audits and performance tuning to ensure optimal resource utilization.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for internal staff and external clients.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a System Administrator or in a similar IT role.
- Strong knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell and Bash.
- Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, MCSE, or AWS Certified Solutions Architect are highly preferred.
- Experience with virtualization technologies like VMware or Hyper-V.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
