Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain Linux/Windows server environments across on-premises and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
- Proactively monitor system performance using Nagios/Zabbix and optimize resource utilization
- Lead disaster recovery planning and execute failover procedures for critical systems
- Automate workflows using Python/Ansible and develop CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure
- Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and network security protocols (Firewall, VPN)
- Document infrastructure changes and maintain compliance with SOC2 standards
- Mentor junior administrators and collaborate with DevOps teams
Qualifications
- 5+ years experience in enterprise system administration with hybrid cloud environments
- Expert-level proficiency in Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu) and Windows Server administration
- Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell) and infrastructure-as-code tools
- CCNA/CCNP or equivalent networking certification required
- Hands-on experience with virtualization (VMware/KVM) and container orchestration (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Proven track record in incident response and root cause analysis
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
