Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and optimize Windows Server and Linux infrastructure across hybrid cloud environments
- Manage Azure/AWS deployments including VMs, containers, and Kubernetes clusters
- Implement robust security protocols (CIS benchmarks, NIST compliance)
- Automate provisioning using Ansible/Terraform and CI/CD pipelines
- Monitor system performance with Splunk/Prometheus and proactively resolve issues
- Lead disaster recovery planning and quarterly DR drills
- Mentor junior engineers and document infrastructure blueprints
Qualifications
- 5+ years of enterprise system administration experience
- Expert-level proficiency in Windows Server 2019/2022 and RHEL/CentOS
- AWS/Azure certification (Solutions Architect or DevOps Engineer preferred)
- Strong scripting skills (Python, PowerShell, Bash)
- Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform/Ansible)
- Deep knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, DNS, load balancing)
- CI/CD pipeline management (Jenkins/GitLab CI)
- Ability to work rotating on-call shifts (1:4 rotation)
