Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain Windows Server environments (2016/2019) and Active Directory infrastructure
- Manage cloud platforms including Azure and AWS with IaaS/PaaS configurations
- Oversee backup/DR solutions using Veeam and Zerto for 99.9% uptime SLAs
- Automate workflows via PowerShell and Ansible for operational efficiency
- Monitor system health with SolarWinds and Splunk, resolving incidents within SLAs
- Lead hardware refresh cycles and capacity planning for 500+ endpoints
- Document SOPs and conduct security audits for compliance (SOC2, HIPAA)
Qualifications
- 5+ years of enterprise system administration experience with Windows Server
- Expert-level knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy
- AWS/Azure certification (AZ-104 or AWS SysOps Admin preferred)
- Hands-on experience with virtualization (Hyper-V, VMware) and containerization (Docker)
- Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Python) for automation
- Experience with network fundamentals (TCP/IP, VLANs, firewalls)
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent technical certifications (CompTIA, MCSA)
