Responsibilities
- Infrastructure Management: Oversee the design, deployment, and maintenance of on-premise servers and cloud-based resources (AWS/Azure) to ensure high availability and security.
- Automation & Scripting: Develop and maintain Python and Bash scripts to automate routine administrative tasks, deployment pipelines, and system monitoring.
- Security & Compliance: Implement and enforce robust security protocols, perform vulnerability assessments, and manage Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions.
- Performance Tuning: Monitor system health, analyze logs, and proactively optimize system performance to prevent downtime and enhance user experience.
- Disaster Recovery: Lead regular backups, disaster recovery drills, and business continuity planning to safeguard critical business data.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of proven experience as a System Administrator or DevOps Engineer in a Linux/Windows hybrid environment.
- Operating Systems: Deep expertise in Red Hat/CentOS, Ubuntu, and Windows Server 2019/2022.
- Scripting: Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, or Bash).
- Cloud Knowledge: Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, specifically AWS (EC2, S3, VPC) or Azure.
- Networking: Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and firewall configurations.
