Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain on-premise servers, including Linux (RHEL/CentOS) and Windows Server environments.
- Configure, deploy, and troubleshoot network hardware and software solutions.
- Implement and monitor disaster recovery and backup procedures to ensure data integrity.
- Provide Level 3 support for complex technical issues and serve as a mentor for junior staff.
- Automate administrative tasks using scripting languages such as Python or Bash.
- Conduct regular security audits and patch management to mitigate vulnerabilities.
Qualifications
- 3-5+ years of professional experience as a System Administrator or Network Engineer.
- Strong knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
- Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure) is highly desirable.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CCNA, or RHCE are a plus.
