Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain Windows/Linux server environments and network infrastructure
- Monitor system performance using tools like Nagios and Splunk, resolving issues proactively
- Execute security protocols including vulnerability scanning, patch management, and access controls
- Automate workflows using PowerShell/Python scripts to enhance operational efficiency
- Manage cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure) and hybrid cloud integrations
- Lead disaster recovery planning and business continuity testing
- Document system configurations and SOPs for team knowledge transfer
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on system administration experience in enterprise environments
- Expertise in Windows Server 2019/2022 and Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu)
- Certifications: CompTIA Server+, CCNA, or AWS Certified SysOps Administrator
- Proficiency in virtualization (VMware vSphere) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash, Python)
- Experience with enterprise backup solutions (Veeam, Commvault)
- Ability to work flexible hours for system maintenance windows
