Responsibilities
- Infrastructure Management: Oversee the daily operations of servers, networks, and storage systems to ensure maximum uptime and performance.
- System Security: Implement and maintain robust security protocols to protect sensitive data and comply with industry regulations.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve complex hardware and software issues efficiently to minimize downtime.
- Cloud Integration: Manage hybrid cloud environments, including Azure and AWS, ensuring seamless integration with on-premise solutions.
- Backup & Recovery: Develop and execute data backup strategies and disaster recovery plans to safeguard business continuity.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate technical documentation, including network diagrams and configuration records.
- Team Support: Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 technical support to internal staff and collaborate with developers.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of professional experience as a System Administrator or Network Engineer.
- Operating Systems: Proficiency in Windows Server and Linux (RHEL/CentOS).
- Networking: Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and firewall configurations.
- Scripting: Experience with PowerShell, Bash scripting, or Python for automation tasks.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, CCNA, or MCSA are highly preferred.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with non-technical stakeholders.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with a proactive approach to system maintenance and security.
