Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and optimize enterprise-level server and network infrastructure
- Manage cloud environments (AWS/Azure) and hybrid systems with 99.9% uptime SLAs
- Lead cybersecurity initiatives including threat detection, vulnerability assessments, and compliance audits
- Automate system administration tasks using Python/PowerShell and CI/CD pipelines
- Provide Tier-3 technical support and mentor junior IT staff
- Document infrastructure architecture and disaster recovery procedures
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years administering Windows Server and Linux environments
- Expertise in virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V) and container orchestration (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Strong scripting abilities (Python, PowerShell, Bash)
- Industry certifications (CompTIA Server+, AWS SysOps, or Azure Administrator)
- Experience with monitoring tools (Nagios, Zabbix, Prometheus)
- Proven track record in high-availability infrastructure projects
