Responsibilities
- Design and implement secure on-premises and cloud-based infrastructure solutions
- Manage Windows Server and Linux environments across 500+ endpoints
- Oversee network security protocols including firewalls, VPNs, and IDS/IPS systems
- Automate operational tasks using PowerShell, Python, and Ansible
- Provide Level 3 support for complex system outages and performance issues
- Coordinate disaster recovery testing and business continuity planning
- Document IT infrastructure and maintain configuration management databases
Qualifications
- 5+ years of enterprise-level system administration experience
- Expert proficiency in Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP management
- AWS/Azure certifications with hands-on cloud migration experience
- Strong scripting abilities (PowerShell, Python, Bash)
- Experience with virtualization (VMware ESXi/Hyper-V) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- CompTIA Security+ or equivalent security certification
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
