Responsibilities
- Manage, maintain, and upgrade on-premise and cloud infrastructure (Linux and Windows Server environments).
- Configure and troubleshoot network hardware, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
- Implement and enforce robust security protocols, patch management strategies, and disaster recovery plans.
- Provide Tier 2/3 technical support to internal staff, resolving complex hardware and software issues efficiently.
- Automate routine administrative tasks using scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell) to improve operational efficiency.
- Monitor system performance metrics, analyze trends, and proactively plan for capacity scaling and optimization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new technologies and software solutions seamlessly.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience as a System Administrator or similar IT role.
- Strong hands-on experience with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy Management.
- Proficiency in scripting and automation (Bash, PowerShell, or Python).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure) and virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).
- Excellent troubleshooting skills with a deep understanding of network topologies and TCP/IP.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification is preferred.
