Responsibilities
- Infrastructure Management: Oversee the administration, maintenance, and support of Windows Server, Linux, and virtualization environments (VMware/Hyper-V).
- Cloud Administration: Design, implement, and manage Microsoft Azure resources and AWS cloud infrastructure.
- Security & Compliance: Implement security protocols, manage firewalls, VPNs, and ensure data protection compliance (GDPR/ HIPAA standards).
- Scripting & Automation: Develop and maintain PowerShell and Python scripts to automate repetitive IT tasks and improve operational efficiency.
- Network Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve complex network issues, ensuring high-speed connectivity for all departments.
- Backup & Recovery: Manage backup strategies (Veeam) and conduct regular disaster recovery drills to ensure business continuity.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of professional experience as a System Administrator or Network Engineer.
- Operating Systems: Deep expertise in Windows Server (Active Directory) and Linux (RHEL/CentOS).
- Certifications: CompTIA Security+ or Azure Administrator certification is highly preferred.
- Scripting: Proficiency in PowerShell, Bash, or Python scripting.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for cross-departmental collaboration.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience.
