Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and optimize Linux/Windows server environments across AWS and on-premise infrastructure
- Manage enterprise-level networking, including firewalls, VPNs, and load balancers
- Automate deployment pipelines using Ansible, Terraform, and CI/CD tools
- Monitor system performance using ELK stack and Splunk, proactively addressing bottlenecks
- Implement robust security protocols including IAM, encryption, and compliance frameworks
- Lead disaster recovery planning and execute system upgrades during maintenance windows
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years administering enterprise-level Linux/Windows Server environments
- Expertise with AWS services (EC2, S3, VPC, Lambda) and hybrid cloud architectures
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
- Strong knowledge of networking principles (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs)
- Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and orchestration
- Relevant certifications (CompTIA Server+, AWS Certified SysOps)
