Responsibilities
- Manage Windows/Linux server environments and cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure)
- Implement and maintain security protocols, firewalls, and access controls
- Oversee network operations, including VPN, DNS, and Active Directory
- Perform system backups, disaster recovery, and capacity planning
- Troubleshoot hardware/software issues with root cause analysis
- Document procedures and create technical documentation
- Collaborate with development teams on DevOps integration
Qualifications
- 5+ years experience in system administration with Windows/Linux
- Strong knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, VLANs, routing)
- Certifications (CompTIA Server+, Linux+, or Microsoft Azure) preferred
- Experience with virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V) and containerization
- Proficient in scripting (PowerShell, Bash, Python)
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
