Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain Windows Server 2019/2022 and Linux environments across hybrid cloud infrastructure
- Implement and monitor cybersecurity protocols including firewalls, VPNs, and endpoint protection systems
- Automate deployment processes using PowerShell, Ansible, and Terraform
- Provide Tier 3 support for network, storage, and virtualization technologies (VMware ESXi, Hyper-V)
- Conduct capacity planning and performance tuning for enterprise systems
- Develop disaster recovery plans and conduct regular testing
- Collaborate with development teams on CI/CD pipeline optimization
- Document system configurations and maintain compliance with industry standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise system administration
- Expertise in Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy management
- Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash, Python)
- Certification in AWS/Azure or CompTIA Server+ preferred
- Experience with monitoring tools like Nagios, Zabbix, or SolarWinds
- Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and communication skills
