Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain Windows/Linux server environments supporting 500+ users
- Manage cloud infrastructure including AWS/Azure deployments and hybrid cloud solutions
- Oversee network security protocols, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems
- Monitor system performance using tools like Nagios and Splunk
- Lead disaster recovery planning and execute system backups
- Document IT processes and create SOPs for system administration
- Collaborate with development teams on DevOps initiatives
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise system administration
- Expert proficiency in Windows Server 2019/2022 and Active Directory
- Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash, Python)
- CCNA or CompTIA Security+ certification required
- Experience with virtualization (VMware vSphere/Hyper-V)
- Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Ability to work rotating on-call shifts
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
