Role Overview
The Senior Strategic Architect will be responsible for designing scalable, high-performance systems that can withstand the demands of future-scale data processing. You will bridge the gap between theoretical research and practical engineering, ensuring our infrastructure is not just ready for today, but built to evolve with tomorrow.
Responsibilities
- Architectural Leadership: Define and oversee the technical vision for Project 2026, ensuring alignment with business goals and long-term scalability requirements.
- System Design: Design robust, fault-tolerant distributed systems leveraging cloud-native technologies and edge computing.
- Trend Analysis: Research and evaluate emerging technologies (AI, ML, Blockchain) to integrate them into our core architecture.
- Team Mentorship: Lead a team of senior engineers and architects, conducting code reviews, technical mentoring, and architecture reviews.
- Infrastructure Security: Implement rigorous security protocols and compliance standards to protect proprietary data and user privacy.
- Stakeholder Communication: Translate complex technical concepts into actionable insights for executive leadership and non-technical stakeholders.
- Performance Optimization: Continuously monitor system performance and drive optimization strategies to reduce latency and improve throughput.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (PhD preferred).
- Experience: 10+ years of experience in software architecture, with at least 5 years in a leadership or senior technical role.
- Technical Stack: Deep expertise in distributed systems, microservices architecture, and containerization (Kubernetes, Docker).
- Cloud Proficiency: Extensive experience with major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Programming: Proficiency in high-level languages such as Python, Go, or Rust.
- Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to solve complex technical problems and navigate ambiguous requirements.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive consensus.
