Responsibilities
- Design and implement microservices using Java/Spring Boot and AWS Lambda
- Lead API development for federal government data platforms
- Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and architecture sessions
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Docker
- Optimize database performance for PostgreSQL and MongoDB
- Conduct security audits and implement zero-trust architecture
- Collaborate with UX teams to build responsive React interfaces
Qualifications
- 5+ years of full-stack development experience
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and containerization
- Strong background in government compliance (FedRAMP, NIST)
- Weekend shift availability with flexible scheduling
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Proven track record with Agile/Sc methodologies
- Experience with Terraform infrastructure-as-code
