Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality, scalable software solutions using modern technologies.
- Lead the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) from concept through deployment, with a focus on weekend maintenance and updates.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams of product managers, designers, and engineers to define features and technical specifications.
- Conduct code reviews, perform debugging, and optimize application performance to ensure 99.9% uptime.
- Implement best practices for security, testing, and documentation within the engineering team.
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- 5+ years of professional software development experience in a high-paced environment.
- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Demonstrated ability to work in a Weekend Shift rotation while maintaining peak productivity.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
