Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain high-quality software applications focused on stability and performance.
- Debug and resolve complex technical issues during the weekend maintenance window to ensure zero downtime.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and deploy new features.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following industry standards (e.g., SOLID principles).
- Participate in code reviews and technical planning sessions.
- Optimize application speed and scalability to handle peak loads.
- Conduct system audits and security reviews to ensure data integrity.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field (Master’s preferred).
- 3+ years of professional software engineering experience in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in at least two modern programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, C#, JavaScript/TypeScript).
- Strong understanding of databases (SQL, NoSQL) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
- Ability to work a weekend shift (Saturday/Sunday) as part of the rotation.
- Willingness to relocate to the Las Vegas, NV area with valid work authorization.
