Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance backend services for our Equity Options trading engine.
- Execute scheduled maintenance and emergency patches during weekend shifts to minimize trading disruption.
- Collaborate with quantitative analysts to optimize algorithms for market volatility.
- Implement robust security protocols to protect sensitive financial data.
- Conduct rigorous code reviews and performance testing.
- Monitor system health and troubleshoot complex issues in real-time.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in software engineering, preferably within the FinTech or Equity Options industry.
- Strong proficiency in Python, Java, or C++.
- Demonstrated experience working rotating shifts or weekend schedules.
- Deep understanding of financial markets, specifically Options Trading mechanics.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
