Responsibilities
- Lead the deployment and maintenance of mission-critical software applications during weekend release cycles.
- Perform code reviews and optimize existing backend services to ensure 99.99% uptime.
- Debug and resolve complex technical issues reported during off-peak hours.
- Collaborate with the QA team to validate weekend patch releases before production deployment.
- Document technical procedures and incident reports for the weekend operations team.
- Monitor system performance metrics and proactively address potential bottlenecks.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience in a high-volume environment.
- Proficiency in at least two of the following: Python, Java, or Go.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Strong understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Availability to work a consistent weekend shift schedule (e.g., Saturday and Sunday).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
