Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software solutions for critical weekend infrastructure to ensure 99.99% uptime.
- Perform system monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimization to resolve technical issues swiftly.
- Conduct code reviews and implement best practices for security, performance, and scalability.
- Collaborate with the core team to bridge the gap between development and operations (DevOps).
- Deploy updates and patches to production environments with zero downtime.
- Document technical processes and create runbooks for complex system issues.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional software development experience in a backend or full-stack capacity.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Go.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Strong understanding of database management systems (SQL/NoSQL).
- Must be available to work a rotating weekend shift schedule (Saturday/Sunday).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
