Responsibilities
- Architect and implement scalable backend systems using Python and microservices
- Optimize application performance and database queries for weekend traffic patterns
- Lead code reviews and mentor junior engineers on agile methodologies
- Collaborate with product teams to translate requirements into technical solutions
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and maintain robust DevOps practices
- Contribute to open-source projects and stay current with emerging technologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience in full-stack development with Python/Java
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and event-driven architecture
- Proven ability to deliver production-quality code in fast-paced environments
- Experience leading technical initiatives and mentoring teams
- Comfortable working independently during weekend shifts (Sat-Sun)
