Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy scalable cloud applications on weekend shifts
- Lead technical reviews and optimize system performance
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming and code reviews
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices
- Collaborate with product teams to define technical requirements
- Troubleshoot complex system issues with root cause analysis
- Document architecture decisions and technical specifications
Qualifications
- 5+ years of software development experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP)
- Expertise in at least two modern programming languages (Java, Python, Go)
- Strong background in microservices architecture and containerization
- Proven experience leading weekend shift operations
- CI/CD pipeline implementation with Jenkins, GitLab, or similar
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently during weekend shifts with remote team collaboration
