Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and deploy high-quality software solutions on weekends to ensure 99.99% system uptime.
- Analyze system logs and performance metrics to proactively identify and resolve potential bottlenecks.
- Collaborate with the core engineering team to define feature specifications and technical architecture.
- Participate in code reviews and technical planning sessions to maintain high engineering standards.
- Maintain and update internal documentation and technical runbooks.
- Troubleshoot complex production issues and implement emergency patches when necessary.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Minimum of 5 years of professional software development experience.
- Strong proficiency in at least two modern programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, Go, TypeScript).
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong communication skills to coordinate with the on-call support team.
