Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy high-quality software solutions during our dedicated weekend release cycles.
- Monitor system health, troubleshoot critical production issues, and perform emergency patching without disrupting the Monday-Friday workforce.
- Collaborate with the Product and QA teams to ensure seamless integration of new features and maintenance updates.
- Maintain and optimize existing codebases for performance, scalability, and security.
- Participate in code reviews and technical architecture planning sessions to ensure best practices.
- Document technical specifications and provide mentorship to junior engineering staff.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 4 years of professional software engineering experience.
- Proficiency in at least two modern programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, Go, or JavaScript/TypeScript).
- Strong understanding of database management systems (SQL/NoSQL).
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and containerization technologies (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work autonomously during the weekend shift.
