Responsibilities
- Design and implement microservices architecture using Java, Spring Boot, and AWS
- Lead code reviews and mentor junior engineers during weekend rotations
- Optimize system performance for 99.99% uptime across distributed environments
- Develop CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications
- Contribute to open-source projects and present at quarterly tech symposiums
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience (5+ years)
- Expert proficiency in Java, Python, and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP)
- Proven experience with microservices architecture and event-driven systems
- Strong understanding of CI/CD methodologies and containerization
- Ability to work independently during weekend shifts while maintaining team alignment
- Relevant certifications (AWS Solutions Architect, Kubernetes Administrator) preferred
- Portfolio demonstrating complex system design and optimization projects
