Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable cloud applications using AWS and microservices architecture
- Lead weekend sprint planning and code reviews ensuring high-quality deliverables
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming and technical documentation
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and automate deployment processes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Optimize application performance and security standards
- Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to technical roadmap planning
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience in software development with Python/Java/JavaScript
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices patterns
- Proficiency in CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar)
- Experience with agile methodologies and JIRA/Confluence
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently on weekend shifts
