Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance web applications and microservices using modern technologies.
- Execute and oversee weekend deployments and maintenance windows to ensure 24/7 system stability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Austin and globally to define feature requirements.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following strict coding standards.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve complex technical issues with minimal downtime.
- Participate in code reviews and technical architecture planning sessions.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional software development experience with a strong command of JavaScript, Python, or Java.
- Demonstrated experience working in a remote or hybrid work environment.
- Flexibility and availability to work a specific Weekend Shift as part of the on-call rotation.
- Deep understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work autonomously.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
