Role Overview:
In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing core services that underpin our platform. You will work closely with product managers and designers to deliver high-quality software that delights our customers.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable software solutions using modern programming languages and frameworks.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle (SDLC), including requirements analysis, architecture design, coding, testing, and deployment.
- Conduct thorough code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure code quality, security, and adherence to coding standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Design, QA) to define features, resolve technical challenges, and ensure project timelines are met.
- Troubleshoot complex production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement robust solutions to improve system reliability.
- Mentor junior developers and engineers, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and technical growth within the team.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to recommend and implement technical improvements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with a strong focus on backend development.
- Proficiency in languages such as Java, Python, Go, or C#.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Strong understanding of software design patterns, data structures, and distributed systems.
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment.
