Responsibilities
- Design & Development: Design, implement, and maintain high-quality, scalable software applications using modern programming languages and frameworks.
- System Architecture: Contribute to the technical design and architecture of our core systems, ensuring scalability, security, and performance.
- Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code, conducting thorough code reviews to ensure best practices are followed.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define features and deliver user-centric solutions.
- Problem Solving: Identify and resolve complex technical issues and performance bottlenecks in a timely manner.
- Remote Leadership: Lead technical initiatives and mentor junior developers within a remote-first culture.
- Equity Strategy: Collaborate on technical roadmaps that align with company growth and equity vesting milestones.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of professional software development experience.
- Languages: Proficiency in at least two of the following: Python, Java, JavaScript, Go, or C++.
- Frameworks: Strong experience with front-end frameworks (React, Angular, Vue) and back-end technologies.
- Cloud & DevOps: Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Remote Work: Proven ability to work effectively in a remote or hybrid work environment.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
