Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable microservices using Java/Spring Boot and AWS
- Lead CI/CD pipeline optimization using Jenkins and Kubernetes
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming and code reviews
- Collaborate with product teams to translate requirements into technical specs
- Conduct performance testing and implement system optimizations
- Own production deployments and incident response protocols
Qualifications
- 5+ years experience in backend development (Java, Python, or Node.js)
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) and containerization
- Strong knowledge of relational (SQL) and NoSQL databases
- Proven track record of shipping production-grade applications
- Experience with Agile methodologies and JIRA/Confluence
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
