Responsibilities
- Lead design and implementation of microservices using Go/Python and AWS
- Optimize system performance and ensure 99.99% uptime for critical services
- Mentor 2-3 junior engineers through code reviews and pair programming
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into technical specs
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Docker/Kubernetes
- Contribute to open-source projects and represent the company at tech conferences
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in production-level software development
- Expertise in at least two of: Go, Python, Java, or TypeScript
- Strong understanding of cloud architecture (AWS/GCP/Azure)
- Proficiency with containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) and orchestration
- Experience with event-driven systems and message queues (Kafka/RabbitMQ)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Track record of shipping scalable, high-traffic applications
