Responsibilities
- Architect and implement scalable microservices using Go and Kubernetes
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming and code reviews
- Optimize CI/CD pipelines for 99.99% uptime SLAs
- Lead technical design sessions for new product features
- Contribute to open-source projects and tech community events
- Monitor system performance using Datadog and Grafana
- Champion agile methodologies across distributed teams
Qualifications
- 5+ years experience in backend development with Go/Python
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and container orchestration
- Strong background in event-driven architecture and message queues
- Proven track record of mentoring engineers in remote settings
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- Contributions to open-source repositories (GitHub profile required)
- Experience with observability tools (Prometheus, ELK Stack)
