Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain enterprise-wide security architectures and policies aligned with industry standards (NIST, ISO).
- Monitor and analyze security alerts from SIEM systems (Splunk, Sentinel) to identify and neutralize threats in real-time.
- Conduct regular penetration testing, vulnerability assessments, and red team exercises to ensure system integrity.
- Lead incident response investigations, perform forensic analysis, and coordinate with external stakeholders during security breaches.
- Manage Identity and Access Management (IAM) protocols, ensuring least privilege and compliance with GDPR/CCPA.
- Collaborate with software development teams to embed security best practices into the DevSecOps pipeline.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, network security, or information assurance.
- Certifications: CISSP, CEH, GCIH, or CISM are highly desirable.
- Strong proficiency with security tools such as Firewalls, IDS/IPS, and Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR).
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP) and container security (Kubernetes).
- Excellent scripting skills in Python or Bash for automation and threat hunting.
