Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable microservices using Go and Kubernetes
- Lead CI/CD pipeline optimization using Terraform and Jenkins
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming and architecture reviews
- Collaborate with product teams to translate requirements into technical specs
- Drive code quality through comprehensive testing and documentation
- Contribute to open-source projects and industry best practices
- Present technical solutions to cross-functional stakeholders
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 5+ years experience in backend development with cloud services (AWS/Azure)
- Proficiency in Go, Python, or Java with distributed systems experience
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and event-driven architectures
- Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes)
- Proven ability to lead complex technical projects from conception to deployment
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Portfolio demonstrating open-source contributions or significant projects
