Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy scalable microservices using Java/Spring Boot and cloud technologies (AWS/Azure)
- Lead code reviews and architectural discussions to maintain high-quality standards
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming and knowledge sharing sessions
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and automation for testing and deployment
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Optimize system performance and troubleshoot complex production issues
- Contribute to open-source projects and stay current with emerging technologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience (MS preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in backend development with Java and Spring framework
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
- Proven experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI) and infrastructure-as-code
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a distributed team
- Experience mentoring engineers and driving technical initiatives
- Strong communication skills with proficiency in written English
