The Role:
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will take ownership of the design and implementation of scalable, high-performance microservices. You will work closely with product managers, designers, and fellow engineers to deliver software that drives business growth and user engagement.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy robust, scalable backend and frontend solutions using modern technologies.
- Lead code reviews and mentor junior engineers to ensure code quality, best practices, and architectural standards.
- Optimize application performance, reduce latency, and ensure high availability of our core services.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Contribute to the automation of CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code (IaC) management.
- Participate in on-call rotations and incident response to maintain system stability.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- 5+ years of professional software development experience in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, Python, or Go with deep knowledge of asynchronous programming.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Deep understanding of data structures, algorithms, and system design principles.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Self-motivated individual capable of working independently in a fully remote setting.
