As a key member of our engineering squad, you will define the architecture of our products and mentor junior developers.
Responsibilities
- System Architecture: Design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance backend and frontend systems using modern technologies.
- Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code; conduct thorough code reviews to ensure best practices.
- Technical Leadership: Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical decision-making processes within the product team.
- Optimization: Identify performance bottlenecks and optimize application speed and efficiency.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Product Managers, Designers, and QA to deliver features that exceed customer expectations.
- Relocation Support: Assist in the seamless transition to the California office location, including logistics and onboarding.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: 5+ years of professional software development experience in a full-stack environment.
- Remote Experience: Proven track record of successfully working in remote or hybrid teams.
- Technologies: Proficiency in React, Node.js, Python, or Java. Experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure is a plus.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to debug complex issues and propose effective solutions.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
