About the Role:
We are looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about building scalable, robust software solutions. You will be responsible for the full lifecycle of our core products, from conception to deployment.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-scale, distributed software systems using modern architectures.
- Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Designers, and Backend Engineers to define feature requirements and technical specifications.
- Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality, adherence to best practices, and security standards.
- Mentor junior developers and conduct technical training sessions to foster a culture of knowledge sharing.
- Troubleshoot complex production issues and optimize application performance for speed and scalability.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) including agile planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience).
- 5+ years of professional experience in software development, with a strong focus on scalable web applications.
- Proficiency in at least two of the following: JavaScript (React, Vue, Angular), Python, or Java.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Strong understanding of database technologies (SQL and NoSQL) and API design (RESTful and GraphQL).
- Demonstrated ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
