Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable microservices architecture using cloud-native technologies
- Lead code reviews and mentor junior engineers while maintaining high code quality standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate security requirements into robust technical solutions
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment
- Conduct security audits and vulnerability assessments of existing systems
- Optimize application performance and scalability across distributed environments
- Stay current with emerging threats and implement proactive security measures
Qualifications
- 8+ years of software development experience with strong focus on security applications
- Expertise in at least two modern programming languages (Python, Go, or Rust preferred)
- Proven experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization technologies
- Deep understanding of cybersecurity principles and secure coding practices
- Strong background in microservices architecture and distributed systems
- Experience with agile methodologies and DevOps practices
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
