Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and secure software applications using modern programming languages and frameworks.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (product managers, designers, and other engineers) to define, design, and ship new features.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code, ensuring adherence to best coding standards and architectural patterns.
- Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to peers and ensuring code quality.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex technical issues and performance bottlenecks in production environments.
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to the technical growth of the team.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation within the company.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- 5+ years of professional software development experience with a strong focus on backend or full-stack development.
- Proficiency in JavaScript or Python, with experience in frameworks such as React, Node.js, or Django.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Google Cloud Platform and containerization technologies like Docker.
- Strong understanding of database systems (SQL and NoSQL) and RESTful APIs.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
