Responsibilities
- Architect and implement cloud-native microservices using Go and Python on AWS
- Lead CI/CD pipeline optimization for containerized deployments via Kubernetes
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming and technical design reviews
- Collaborate with Product and UX teams to translate requirements into robust APIs
- Optimize database performance for multi-tenant PostgreSQL clusters
- Contribute to open-source projects and internal innovation labs
- Implement security-first DevOps practices including IaC with Terraform
Qualifications
- 5+ years experience in backend development with Go/Python
- Expertise in distributed systems design and cloud architectures (AWS/GCP)
- Strong proficiency with Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration
- Proven track record of owning production services with SLA >99.9%
- Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering or equivalent practical experience
- Experience with event-driven architectures and message queues (Kafka/RabbitMQ)
- Fluency in test-driven development and code review best practices
- Ability to thrive in async remote collaboration with strong written communication
