Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced security monitoring protocols for cloud/on-premises infrastructure
- Lead incident response investigations and forensic analysis of security breaches
- Develop and maintain SIEM correlation rules and threat detection systems
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing of critical assets
- Create executive-level security reports and strategic improvement recommendations
- Mentor junior analysts and drive security awareness initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity/IT or equivalent experience (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years in cybersecurity with 3+ years in threat detection/response
- Industry certifications: CISSP, CISM, or GIAC (e.g., GCFA, GCIH)
- Expertise in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and EDR/XDR platforms
- Strong knowledge of NIST, ISO 27001, and compliance frameworks
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP) and container technologies
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to communicate complex concepts
