Responsibilities
- Design and implement cloud-native microservices using AWS/GCP and Kubernetes
- Lead code reviews and architectural discussions for distributed systems
- Mentor 3-5 junior engineers through pair programming and technical workshops
- Optimize CI/CD pipelines for 99.99% uptime and zero-downtime deployments
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into technical specs
- Contribute to open-source projects and publish technical blog posts
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in production-level software development
- Expertise in Go, Python, or Java with strong OOP fundamentals
- Proven experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and container orchestration
- Strong background in RESTful APIs and event-driven architecture
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- Portfolio demonstrating complex system design and scalability solutions
- Excellent problem-solving skills with system debugging experience
